Meet Jim Qualey
Jim has been a resident of Rindge for over 26 years and currently serves as State Representative for Cheshire District 18, representing the towns of Rindge, Jaffrey, and Dublin.
As a member and Vice-Chairman of the NH House Election Law Committee, Jim has worked consistently to maintain and strengthen the integrity of New Hampshire elections.
His record of community service includes serving as a Rindge Selectman from 2016 to 2019 (including 1½ years as Chairman), serving as an alternate Library Trustee for 10 years, and participating on the SAU-47 Budget Advisory Committee. He was also Chairman of the Rindge Jaffrey Fitzwilliam Republican Committee for six years (2019–2025).

Professional Background
Jim brings a strong technical and analytical background to public service. He spent many years working as an engineer in both civilian and defense-related research and development.
He also served as a visiting professor teaching physics at Daniel Webster College. Jim holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Penn State University.
